24-14
At least the boys looked good tonight. Bring on da Bears. Also, as Al and John pointed out towards the end of the game, either Kansas City or Carolina is going to open up the season 0-2. That makes next Sunday at least that much more interesting. Posted by Ryan Olson at 11:20 PM

Sub-Par Gardettos Experience
This is mildly upsetting. I just bought a bag of Gardettos, and upon opening it found that there were only two melba toasts in the whole bag. What a rip-off. Posted by Ryan Olson at 02:29 PM

Log Cabins
Interesting... Apparently the Log Cabin Republicans have voted to withhold their endorsement of Bush for reelection. As for me, it really was Bush's support of an amendment to outlaw gay marriage that finally pushed me over the edge into (shudder) Kerryland. It's interesting that even a group as Republican as the Log Cabins has bailed. Unfortunately, I get the feeling that the Republicans have written off the libertarian wing of the party. As much as it pains me, I think we need to bail to the Democrats to get their attention. Hopefully this will help push that along. Posted by Ryan Olson at 09:29 PM

Geekery
Not only did I manage to get Gentoo installed on a new machine, I actually managed to successfully troubleshoot a network problem that required recompiling a kernel! Wow! This is why I'm still single. Wait, no I'm not... Posted by Ryan Olson at 08:25 PM

Terry Gilliam Barbecue Plagued By Production Delays. Heh. At least The Brothers Grimm does look like it'll make it to theaters sometime early next year. Posted by Ryan Olson at 04:43 PM
